Sneak peak, ISPO Award winning products coming for Winter 22 🏅

We are super excited to announce we will be stocking three of ISPO’s award winning products for Autumn Winter 22, with a New LiTRIC Electronic airbag from Ortovox in partnership with Arc’Teryx. We also reveal a completely new Alpride E2 system which you can find in Deuter Alproof and Scott backcountry Patrol packs for next winter.

Here is a sneak preview of next seasons packs:

Ortovox

Ortovox and Arc’teryx enter into an extraordinary alliance with the LiTRIC and present a new, electric and lightweight avalanche safety system that will be used in the backpacks of the two brands from September 2022. 

Here is some of the highlights of the pack:

• Lightweight, Weighing only 1080 grams
• Does not require cartridges, 
• A charge is completed within 25 minutes.
• Two releases within 60 hours are possible

The LiTRIC base unit is compatible with the Freeride or touring zip-ons.

The entire Ortovox Avabag LiTRIC collection is climate-neutral and PFC-free manufactured in Bavaria.

Deuter 

The new avalanche backpack series. Equipped with Alpride’s E2 airbag system, the Alproof is lightweight and easy to use.

Highlights of the new Alpride E2 System:

• Powered by USB-C charged supercapacitors that inflate in less than three seconds.
• Additional AA batteries provide long standby time.
• LCD displays and external LED lights provide full control and “buddy check” function.
• The carrying system and attachments are super convenient and intuitive.

Scott

The Scott Backcountry Patrol E2 30 Kit provides additional safety in the avalanche and prevents burial. The avalanche backpack for freeskiing is a further development of the iconic SCOTT Patrol E1.

It is equipped with the Alpride E2 avalanche system, the lightest electronic system on the market to date.

The backpack features Cordura® Ripstop fabric for improved durability, optimized equipment attachment solutions and dedicated pockets and compartments for various equipment.

Conclusion

ISPOs awards were given out based on the following factors, consistency in further developing of existing concepts towards more lightness, functionality and sustainability.
