Flying to your favourite resorts this winter season and thinking of taking your own Ski and Snowboard Luggage, Ensure you check your airline’s sports luggage fees beforehand, some airlines cost an arm and a leg. Thanks to BA and Swiss airlines they offer free carriage as long as you do not exceed the limits. Here we have created a guide (only) to those popular airlines who add on those nasty extra fees.
Most airlines will charge for two pieces of luggage, with Easyjet you will have to pay for your sports equipment and luggage bags, Swiss Air and few other airlines allow free sports equipment. it’s important to pack all of your clothing and avy equipment within your ski and snowboard luggage to ensure you pay no fees.
