The Ortovox Powder Rider 16 offers five safety compartments, The main compartment has indicated pockets where you can store your avalanche safety gear. This will allow you rapid access to your shovel and probe in the case of an emergency.
The Hip Belt Pocket gives you storage for all smaller items such as a mobile phone, camera case or keys.
Ortovox has integrated Bright Colours into the Powder Rider 16 to make searching for your emergency equipment easier.
Improved Hydration-system storage compartment, giving you greater capacity to your drinking bladder.
The standard for Ortovox, an Emergency Card has been added to the features so when an avalanche occurs it makes it easy to extract information of the victim.

D-Skifix allows you to attach your skis to the front of your pack in a diagonal method.
You can store your Ice axe, Hiking poles or Shovel Shaft to the Pick Loops on the front of the pack.
Safety Whistle is attached to the chest straps to draw attention in the case of an avalanche.
Water Resistant zippers will stop all moisture and snow getting into your pack so your spare layers or valuables don’t become damp.
Helmet Net can be fixated to the front of the pack.

To determine your back length, use a tape measure to measure yourself from the top of your hip bone to the very top of your back just before the neck. Use the size guide image in the image gallery to calculate your size.
