Ortovox Peak 45 Inside (Interior):
- The most interesting feature of the Peak 45 is the Side Access Zip, which runs from the right shoulder all the way around the bottom of the pack to the left hip. This allows for the entire pack to be folded open from the outside.

Back-System
Swisswool-full-contact back system
The Swisswool backs in the Ortovox Peak 35 , 32 S, 42 S and 45 backpacks are made of pressed Wool Fleece with a punch-hole covering.
Thanks to the wool, the backpack can Absorb Much More Moisture From the Back and at the same time is More Breathable than conventional backpacks that are made using foam material, for example.
The Full Contact Back fits closely to the body and offers optimum weight distribution.

To determine your back length, use a tape measure to measure yourself from the top of your hip bone to the very top of your back just before the neck. Use the size guide image in the image gallery to calculate your size.

- Separate Safety Compartment: Fast Access to emergency gear through a separate front compartment. Probe and shafts sleeves are marked with icons. Fasten the shovel, with the sharp edge up, at the front of the compartment.
- Circumferential Zipper: Fast access to gear in the main compartment through a two-way circumferential zipper.
- D-Skifix: Push the ski through the large loop hidden in the slot compartment, this is indicated with a small icon. you can then secure the skips with the straps hidden in the left shoulder strap. Snowboard and Snowshoe Attachment: Use the two separate straps (located in the middle compartment) and fix them at the male buckle parts of the lateral compression straps.
- A-skifix: Classic Side Ski Fastener using the compression straps.
- Snowboard and Snowshoe Attachment: Open the side flat-front buckles and connect the additional straps (Stored in the lid pocket) on both sides.
- Ice Axe Attachment: place the pick of the axe into the icon compartment and fix it with the clips. then attach the shaft by fitting the additional velcro strap (found in the lid strap (found in the lid compartment) through the slots on the front panel.
- Hiking Pole Attachment: Poles can be attached to the front of your pack.
- Helmet Net: The helmet net can be found in the foremost compartment. Hook the helmet net hooks onto the small loops near the ice axe fixation and on the slot compartment, these are also indicated by small icons.
- Rope Attachment: Use fixation strap (located in the middle compartment) and fit two half-moon hooks through the loops (one is hidden in the little top compartment) on the upper side of the pack. Open buckle, catch the loop above middle compartment, close the buckle again and tighten the strap.
- Crampon Fastening: Fix the crampon by fitting the two additional straps (located in the middle compartment) through the small slots at the front.
- Gear Loops: Ice axe, hiking poles and your shovel can be attached to the front to save more room in the pack.
- Map Compartment: Special compartment stores your map for quick access when out in the backcountry.
- Swisswool Full Contact Back System: The worlds first back system made from Swisswool gives an ideal body climate. While the surface stays dry, the system perfectly absorbs moisture and is more breathable than standard systems.
