The Ortovox Haute Route 32 has been around for nearly as long as ski touring history goes. Ortovox Haute Route 32 Inside (Interior):

The Ortovox Haute Route 32 pack has the O-flex back system that allows you to distribute the weight between the hips and shoulders.
Eight safety compartments allow you to store all the right essentials for ski touring. spare layers, goggles, shovel and probe can be stored in separate compartments.
The Ortovox Haute Route 32 backpack goes hand in hand with the Ortovox Diract Set, this includes the Ortovox Diract Beacon, Badger Shovel & 240 Alu Probe.

This backpack has storage capacity of 32 Liters and sports a Wide Back Panel Zip Pocket which makes retrieving and storing your equipment a breeze, even with skis attached.
It also includes a Helmet Carry System and a Hip Belt pocket for extra storage space.
The pack's Large Zippers are easy to grab onto, even whilst wearing thick gloves.

The Fit:

The Haute route Route 32 comes with a redesigned O-Flex back system. this system distributes the weight of the pack evenly in a tried and tested way to ensure maximum comfort. This pack will move with you when you skin up, boot pack or drop-down chutes.

Size Guide:

To determine your back length, use a tape measure to measure yourself from the top of your hip bone to the very top of your back just before the neck. Use the size guide image in the image gallery to calculate your size.

O-Flex Frame Back System: Two horizontal aluminium struts inside and padding can be bent for maximum individual adjustment. Perfect access to your gear in snowy condition.
A-Skifix: Classic Side Ski Fastener using the compression straps.
D-Skifix: Push the ski through the large loop hidden in the slot compartment, this is indicated with a small icon. you can then secure the skips with the straps hidden in the left shoulder strap. Snowboard and Snowshoe Attachment: Use the two separate straps (located in the middle compartment) and fix them at the male buckle parts of the lateral compression straps.

Reinforced Compression Straps
Rope Attachment: Use fixation strap (located in the middle compartment) and fit two half-moon hooks through the loops (one is hidden in the little top compartment) on the upper side of the pack. Open buckle, catch the loop above middle compartment, close the buckle again and tighten the strap.
Crampon Fastening: Fix the crampon by fitting the two additional straps (located in the middle compartment) through the small slots at the front.
Gear Loops: Ice axe, hiking poles and your shovel can be attached to the front to save more room in the pack.
Map Compartment: Special compartment stores your map for quick access when out in the backcountry.
Key Holder: Smallholder allows you to store keys so they don’t rattle around in your pack.
