BCA Tracker S Transceiver

Simplicity is speed. The BCA Tracker S Transceiver is a streamlined, high-performance backcountry beacon used for avalanche safety with real-time display.

The BCA Tracker S™ Avalanche Transceiver has the performance, ease of use and instantaneous real-time display of the Tracker 3, without the Tracker 3 motion-sensing or upgradeable software, which are advanced features needed by snow professionals while in an avalanche area.

This Backcountry Access beacon is used to find people while in an avalanche and prevent death or injury by locating the transceiver.

TerraWest Core Plus Material Competition:

For the blade of the shovel, Terrawest used a high-end heat treated 5052 Aluminium that offers a weight-to-strength ratio and has non slip grooves to stop you from slipping when digging. For the Telescopic Stem, a 6061 Aluminium, this allows you to quickly make adjustments to the shaft and is very pack friendly.

Long Centre Column on the Aluminium blade makes it snap free and durable when shovelling in tough icy conditions.

Rescue Sled function, the blade includes holes which you can use as a rescue sled in an emergency situation transporting an injured victim down the slopes.

Telescopic function also means that the shovel can be used at full length, for maximum power, or at a shorter length for the greatest possible efficiency of movement in tighter spaces.

Ergonomic T-Style grip offers a non-slip plastic material so digging is easier when wearing ski gloves.

The New TerraWest Core Quick Lock 240 Probe, built with TerraWest's Safety, Practicality and Innovation guidelines, this 240 cm probe is incredibly fast to deploy and is made for weight-conscious outdoor enthusiasts, weighing just 240 g.

Quick Locking System - TerraWest made it their mission to create a probe with speed and with a deployment time of 6 seconds from quick release cover to a fully assembled probe and 14 seconds from ski backpack to assembled probe | TerraWest managed to achieve this by adding a quick automatic locking system to the top of the probe, this offers deployment in one motion.

Material Composition:

Probe Pole Materials - Aluminium 7075 T6 - This aluminium material is light and stiff, making it a strong compansion for cutting through snow laters.
Probe Tensioning System - Coated Steel cord - This cord has limited stretching and offers high rigidity, stability and robustness, making it the ideal tension cord.

Collapsing your probe:

Click the locking button and pull the handle to release the tension on the probe.
Hold the EVA foam on the first segment and pull the segment right up to the handle.
Now all of the tension has been released you can collapse the probe segment by segment
Tip: When collapsing the probe segment by segment, ensure there is some coated cord so it makes collapsing easier.
