AVABAG LiTRIC System Overview: 

Super Capacitors

The combination of Super Capacitors and a 25g Lightweight Lithium-Ion Battery that is designed to Resist the cold, allows reliable operation even at the most extreme temperatures – without a drop in performance.

The radial high-performance compressor with axial diffusor fills the airbag in Four Seconds.

Compact System

A design that has been carefully considered right down to the last little detail: super-capacitors instead of cartridges and an ultra-lightweight airbag – at just approx. 1,080 grams, LiTRIC is one of the lightest airbag systems on the market.

The 150L-AIRBAG is made using a new, two-layer material that makes complicated folding unnecessary – it can be Simply Pushed back into the airbag pocket.

Focus upon simplicity

A LED display on the side of the backpack shows the system’s battery charge and its readiness for operation including a self-test.

Easy Testing and No Travel Limitations

The electric system can be fully charged via USB-C in approx. 25 minutes and activation can be tested any number of times at no additional cost. The lack of a cartridge means more room, no weighing necessary, no cartridge disposal, and no travel limitations.

Hip and Leg Loop Reimagined

The Tour Specialist  VERSATILE AND LIGHTWEIGHT: The airbag base specifically designed for tourers comes in two back lengths – regular and short. It can be adapted perfectly to the intended use with two tour-specific zip-on bags: from a quick tour after work to single day tours, through to multi-day tours. The base is also compatible with the Freeride zip-ons. Zip-on Sizes:  Tour 28 S  Tour 30  Tour 36 S Tour 40  BASE: The TOUR BASE combines light weight with outstanding stability. It is designed for versatility, provides all the required attachment options, has a separate safety compartment, and is extremely comfortable for long ascents.

The Freerider THIS IS WHAT THE FUTURE OF FREERIDING LOOKS LIKE: Two different freeriding bags can be zipped onto the respective back length of this airbag base, which has been specially designed for backcountry skiing. The compact variant with lift support for a single day in the mountains – or more volume for long days in the backcountry. The base is also compatible with the touring zip-ons. Zip-on Sizes Freeride 16 S Freeride 18  Freeride 26 S Freeride 28  BASE: Thanks to CLASP back technology – the wide, flexible hip belt and soft shoulder straps – the versatile, lightweight FREERIDE BASE sits extremely securely while allowing complete freedom of movement. It is compatible with the CLASP back protector.

The Minimalist APPROX. 1.970 GRAMS total weight for a highly technical airbag backpack! The AVABAG LiTRIC Zero 27 is the purist in this line and is focused upon the essentials: minimal weight, maximum safety. With its volume of 27 liters, it provides enough packing space for tours and is also equipped with all important features, including attachment options for skis, ice axes and poles, effective compression, a clear safety compartment, and a removable helmet net.
